CPAVTS' Local Advisory Committee (LAC) is composed of professionals from local businesses who act as representatives for their respective fields. The LAC meets bi-annually to discuss curriculum, Student Career and Technical Organizations (CTSOs), facilities and equipment, professional development, financial needs, and current community needs. Improving these components of CPAVTS is vital to its success as a career and technical school and ensures that its students are well-equipped to enter the workforce or post-secondary education after graduating from high school. Currently, the LAC consists of approximately 30 members from 12 career clusters.
