Supervisor of Pupil Personnel Services/Assistant Principal
Cumberland Perry AVTS has an immediate opening for position of Supervisor of Pupil Personnel Services/Assistant Principal. Principal Certification required and 5 years of experience in a secondary level school counseling, school social work, or special education required. Previous CTE and supervisory experience preferred.
Primary duties include effective supervision and implementation of: Counseling and Guidance services; Special Education services; admissions, enrollment, and Child Accounting; Cooperative Education; public relations and outreach; Perkins; PIMS; CATS; Student Information Management System; NOCTI testing; and day-to-day building operations.

Computer Programming Instructor
Cumberland Perry AVTS seeks a permanent full-time Computer Programming Instructor for the 2018-2019 school year. The instructor is responsible for on-going development of a new Computer Programming curriculum to build on the first year curriculum of the program. The instructor will be responsible for the planning, preparation, assessment, and supervision of Level 1, 2, and 3 student activities.
Two years of related work experience are required (five years preferred) in computer programming or a related field. Previous teaching experience helpful but not required. Individuals without appropriate teaching certification through the PDE must be willing to complete coursework requirements to obtain vocational teacher certification.

Social Studies Teacher
Cumberland Perry AVTS has an opening for a full-time Social Studies Teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. The teacher is responsible for preparation, delivery, and assessment of standards based World Studies and American Studies courses. Social Studies certification required.

Cumberland Perry AVTS seeks a part-time Instructional Assistant for 2018-2019 school year and beyond. Instructional Assistants provide assistance to students to perform the academic and technical skills necessary for achieving success in a program. Provide individual and small group remedial instruction outside and within the classroom setting. Assist students with organizational and study skills required for success in the program. Assist students whose gender is non-traditional to their assigned career and technical program by providing support as needed. Assist students in developing and using problem-solving techniques. Maintain records of contacts and activities with students. Assist in the administration of aptitude and achievement tests for members of special populations under the supervision of a certified school counselor or administrator. Monitor and supervise common school areas as directed by the Principal or Pupil Personnel Services Director/Assistant Principal. Perform other duties, as assigned. This is a part-time position with a salary range between $11.42-$13.42/hr., 6 hrs. per day, approx. 185 days per year.
