October 2019- Rotary Students of the Month
Hailey Little is a Cumberland Valley High School student in the Criminal Justice Program. She is a member of Key Club at Cumberland Valley, and enjoys bowling. She is currently employed at Bethany Village. She was named Student of the Quarter at CPAVTS. After graduation, Hailey plans to attend Central Penn College to continue her studies in Criminal Justice.
Riley Haring is an East Pennsboro High School student in the Advertising Art and Design Program. He has made the Honor Roll, and has been named Student of the Quarter at CPAVTS. He is a member of NTHS (National Technical Honor Society), CPAVTS. At East Pennsboro, he is part of the German Club. He is currently employed by Cupboard Maker Books, a family business. Upon graduation, He plans to attend Harrisburg University, to obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree, in Interactive Media.
Sadie Ruoss is a West Perry High School student in the Nursing Assisting Program. She is also in the Emerging Health Professionals Program, a new collegiate program available this year through CPAVTS. She is a member of NTHS (CPAVTS), NHS (West Perry), HOSA (Health Students of America), and an Officer for SkillsUSA. She is involved in youth groups that have gone on mission trips to Haiti. She also volunteers at a Soup Kitchen and Food Bank. She is an Honor Roll student, and has been named Student of the Quarter, CPAVTS. She has applied to Messiah College, and Waynesburg University to obtain a Bachelor of Science and eventually a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
