CPAVTS is excited to host a Career Exploration Night to perspective students and family.  Previously, CPAVTS held their annual Open House in early November, however this year will look a little different. Over a four evening period, to ensure social distancing, smaller groups will tour the facility based on more specific program interest.  CPAVTS will require students and parents to preregister online to allow appropriate groups, but registration may occur for multiple nights depending on which career cluster students are interested in exploring! There will be two session rotations for each cluster.  CPAVTS will allow no more than 3 people per family to attend.  Session one will begin at 4:30 pm each evening and end at approximately 6:00 pm.  Session two will begin at 6:00 pm each evening and end by 7:30 pm.

On November 9th, the Construction Academy will be featured which includes Carpentry, Electrical Construction, Horticulture, HVAC, and Masonry.  Students and family will rotate every 12 minutes and visit each construction program offered at CPAVTS.

The Transportation Academy will focus on Auto Collision, Automotive, Diesel, and Logistics Warehouse on Tuesday, November 10th.  Families will rotate every 15 minutes through these four transportation programs at CPAVTS.

On November 11th, the Manufacturing and Technology Academies will include Advanced Manufacturing, Automation, Robotics, and Electronics, Welding, Advertising Art & Design, Computer Programming and Computer Networking.  Students and families will spend 10 minutes at each of the six programs listed.

For the last evening on November 12th, the Health and Human Science Academies will be highlighted and will include Cosmetology, Early Childhood Education, Criminal Justice, Nursing, and Dental.  This rotation of programs will last 10 minutes to visit all six areas.

Students who apply online for the 2021-2022 school year will receive a CPAVTS t-shirt.  CPAVTS is excited for this opportunity to showcase career possibilities to perspective students and family while maintaining the necessary safety precautions.
