General Information

Cumberland Perry AVTS was established by 13 member school districts for the benefit of resident secondary school pupils and adults. 

The Joint Operating Committee (JOC) consists of representatives from the Board of School Directors of each member school district.  These individuals oversee the operation, administration, and management of Cumberland Perry AVTS.

Public comment is permitted during JOC meetings in accordance with JOC Policy #903.  


Agenda Distribution

Agendas are distributed electronically to Joint Operating Committee members the Wednesday prior to the regularly-scheduled meeting. JOC members may also request hard copies of the agenda, which are distributed by mail.

Public agendas are posted on the CPAVTS website the Wednesday prior to the regularly-scheduled meeting (see the "Agendas & Minutes" link to the left). Paper copies are also available at the meeting.

An addendum may be added prior to the meeting, but after initial agenda distribution. These items are noted during the meeting and voted on as part of the original agenda.


JOC Meeting Dates & Committee Meetings

The following is the standard schedule for all subcommittee meetings, along with the 2018-2019 JOC meeting schedule. Any cancellations or changes to any of this information will be added below as soon as possible prior to the meeting:

1The Personnel/Finance/Curriculum Committee meeting will be held at 5:00 p.m. prior to this meeting of the Joint Operating Committee. 2The Building and Grounds Committee will meet immediately following this meeting of the Joint Operating Committee. All committee meetings will be held in the administration office conference room. 

Note: the May meeting has been moved to the Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 in observance of Memorial Day.
